Our Story from

Marras was founded by three young men who have been passionate about the outdoors and all things camouflage since an early age. Over time, this interest remained a strong passion, even though, paradoxically, none of us (anymore) work in law enforcement or defense. Instead, we contribute to national defense as members of the Estonian Defence League alongside our other professions.

In addition to this passion, we have another key trait: we refuse to settle for mediocrity and always strive for excellence—both in skills and in equipment. However, we quickly realized that the limited availability of high-quality and functional gear, or in some cases, the complete absence of certain solutions on the Estonian market, became frustrating enough for us to start designing and manufacturing better gear primarily for ourselves. At some point, it made more sense to share our work beyond just our own unit members, leading to the founding of Marras Solutions OÜ in 2023—nearly six years after our first individual special projects.

Another driving force behind the creation of this company was our desire to promote and distribute tactical medical equipment, an area where we believe there is still a significant shortage in the Estonian Defence Forces and the Defence League. Our vision is that tactical medicine is a critical skill for every soldier and should not be considered someone else’s responsibility. This is why one of our first products was a fully equipped IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) with a pouch designed by us.

Marras designs and introduces tactical gear solutions that are either new to the Estonian market or could be significantly improved compared to existing options. Every product we bring to market is created primarily for ourselves, which is why we are committed to achieving the best possible solutions in terms of design, material selection, and quality. We want to offer both ourselves and other end-users gear that provides functional advantages and superior quality, delivering real value.
