The Marras Solutions Red Poon is a gear pouch that attaches under a plate carrier or other bullet/shot vest, designed to solve the ever-present problem of every lone wolf fighter - where to put all the gear that needs to be carried and quickly accessible on the battlefield. The pocketable Kevlar hood also provides additional protection for the underbelly and pelvic area. The shape of the cruciform - and not the trapeze - is deliberately chosen to accommodate more equipment. A red pack will fill the void under the front of your vest, holding extra ammo, cartridge cases and cartridge liners, grenades galore, US MREs or just a criminal amount of Cornys - only your imagination is the limit.

• Inside the pocket, there is a soft pouch on the front and rear side, which allows you to attach various contents to organize your gear, such as elastic band inserts for eight 40mm grenades (currently under development at Marras), medical equipment inserts (in development for a bit further down the line), night vision device pads or anything else available on the market. More valuable gear can be attached to a pocket inside the top edge.
• The pocket has 2×2 MOLLE fasteners on each side to hold extra gear or to attach a grenade pocket, for example.
• The bottom of the pocket has an elastic band attachment for a gum and a light stick or marker.
• The red bag has a separate pocket inside for a 15x20cm Kevlar helmet.

NIJ 0101.06 level IIIA Kevlar with cushioning can also be purchased with a pocket if desired or purchased separately later - 15x20cm Kevlar is a common size for the sides of the plate carrier. The dimensions of the red bun are 16x20x8 cm (height x width x thickness), the jacket is 20×7,5cm.
